Why has my payment been rejected?
Whenever you make an online payment, an authorization request is sent to your bank. In most cases, the bank authorizes the payment. However, it may refuse in some circumstances, such as unusual card usage or when the payment would exceed a spending cap. Whenever a card is rejected, the payment will also be rejected. You should always contact your bank to find out why authorization was not given. In a small number of cases, a payment may be rejected due to problems with the authorization server.
